Robert Earl Gripp

Robert Earl Gripp, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023. Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Pa. He was the love of Donna's life and her best friend. Robert had a strong work ethic and took pride in raising his family. He was a loving brother and loved being an uncle. Robert will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 2, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky to Joseph and Ruth (Bean) Gripp. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Elizabeth Gripp; father, Joseph B. Gripp; and brother, John Edward Gripp.

Robert is survived by his loving Wife of 47 years, Donna Lee Gripp; son, Robert Joseph Gripp; son, Cody Allen Gripp; daughter, Patricia Renee (Danny) Wilson; grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Wilson, Nicholas Lee Wilson; great-grandson, Braylen Wilson; siblings, Patricia Ann (Daniel) Klein, Linda Lou Perkins, Michael A. Gripp, Joseph P. Gripp, Thomas Joseph Gripp; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended friends and family to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. His Funeral Service will be on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
