Robert Goode Jr.

Robert Goode Jr., 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025. Robert worked and retired from Gills Fish Market. He went on to work for JCPS and after many years of service he retired. He was a constant jokester who loved to laugh and spend time with his family.

He was born on January 19, 1947 in Trinity, Alabama to Robert and Mildred (Moore) Goode. He is preceded in death by his Father, Robert Goode, Sr., Mother, Mildred Goode, Siblings, Oscar Goode and Mildred Moore.

Robert is survived by his loving Wife of 25 years, Wantina Denise Goode; Children, Laneshia Arnold, Theresa (Tony) Shelby, and Terry (Willie) White; Grandchildren, Deserai Arnold, and Jervonte Arnold; Great-Grandchildren, Jeremiah Arnold, Ja'Niyah Arnold, Je'Riah Arnold, Jai'Dyn Arnold, and A'Yana Arnold; Sisters, Helen (Leonard) Staten, Shannon Goode, and Felicia Goode, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
