Robert Gene Douglas, Sr.

Robert Gene Douglas, Sr., 80, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from the United States Postal Service after over 33 years of dedicated service. Bob was an avid golfer, member of Wooded View Golf Course and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.

Bob was born on March 27, 1933 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Colvin J. and Mary E. (McAhron) Douglas. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Amy C. (Marsh) Douglas; sons, Robert Douglas, Jr., Michael Douglas; brother, Ed Douglas; nephews, Ed, Perry, and Danny Douglas.

Visitation will be from 2 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial and military honors to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
