Robert Franklin Mcdonald

Robert F. McDonald, age 70 of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was a resident of Rough River also where the family spent many enjoyable moments. He was a member of St. Matthews Methodist Church, owner of Mason McDonald Drywall and a member of the Home Builders Association. He was preceded in death by his son Joshua and his father, Mason Morris McDonald, Jr.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of over 45 years, Mary Anna Landen McDonald; son, Jonathan Mason McDonald; daughter, Dana Lynn McDonald; grandchildren, LanieRay Walser, Izaiah Lucas, Christian Robert McDonald, Catilyn Johnson, Kansas Marie Elmore, Alexander Scott Mattingly; his mother, Mary Belle McDonald; mother-in-law, Evelyn Landen; sisters, Juanita Brooks (Joe) and Carol Kappasser; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 12:30 pm Friday, June 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:30am until time of service on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or donor's charity of choice.
