Robert M. Eberle

Robert Michael "Bob" Eberle passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 69.

Born on June 10, 1955, in New Albany, Indiana, Bob was a long-time member St. John Paul II Catholic Church. Bob's faith played a central role in his life. His involvement with the church included a memorable journey through the Cursillo at Mount St. Francis, where he formed lasting bonds and found spiritual fulfillment. His commitment to his faith was a testament to the values he instilled in his family.

Bob had a passion for the great outdoors, finding joy in activities such as fishing and camping. He also nurtured a creative side, enjoying the design of homes and capturing beautiful moments through photography. Among his many interests, trains held a special place in his heart, and he often delighted in sharing his love for them with others.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Kathleen "Kathy" (Kruer) Eberle, who was a constant source of support and companionship in his life. Bob is also survived by their daughter, Jennifer Briand, and her husband, Robert, who brightened his life alongside his cherished grandchildren, Ethen and Elizabeth Briand. Additionally, he is remembered by his brother, John Eberle.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Eberle Sr. and Frances (Homester) Eberle, and his brother, Raymond Eberle, Jr. His legacy of love, faith, and passion for life will forever be cherished by those who knew him. 

Cremation was chosen following Bob's wishes. A Memorial Gathering will be from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (2253 W Saint Joe Rd, Sellersburg, IN 47172). His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am at the church.
