DeVries, Robert M., 78 passed away June 30th.
Born in Rochester, MN to Steven and Randy Stensrud DeVries, he is a 1954 graduate of Rochester High School. Bob spent 2 years in the US Navy aboard the USS Bennington. He was a shoe store operator in Naples, FL., and later retired to Louisville, KY with his wife Connie to be near their children and grandchildren. His greatest passion was as a fan of all their athletic activities.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, the former Constance Treat, 3 sons Bradley (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Kelly), Greg (Gretchen); and a daughter Leslie Ann Nichols (Mark); 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday 1 pm at Southeast Christian Church (Chapel) with visitation starting at 10 am in the Fireside Room.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SXMX Ministries (Louisville) and Well Family Worship Center
