Robert Raymond Burgin, Sr.

Robert Raymond Burgin, Sr., 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
He was born on September 11, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Laura Mitchell Burgin. Robert retired from Canada Dry Bottling Company where he was a truck driver for over 30 years. His entire life he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he also enjoyed golf and bowling.
He is preceded in death by his father, James T Burgin; mother, Laura Mitchell Burgin; brothers, Fred Burgin, James "Bubby" Burgin, Vic Burgin, and William "Bill" Burgin; sisters, Dottie Clark, Joyce Helm, and Betty Napier; and grandson, T.J. Burgin.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Gloria Jean Burgin; son, Robert "Robbie" Raymond Burgin, Jr.; daughter, Dana Machelle Keisker (Chris); grandchildren, Jeffery Burgin, Casey Burgin, Nick Burgin, Kacie Booth, and Justin Keisker; and great grandchildren, Triniti and Kennidi Trowell, and Evelyn Booth.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - East Louisville, (235 Juneau Drive). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.
