Robert Barnett

Larry Barnett, 62, passed away on August 20, 2013. He was a 1970 graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He enjoyed singing in his church choir. Larry's favorite past time was playing the piano and organ. He loved to travel and go on trips with Florida being his favorite place to go. The most important thing in Larry's life was spending time with his family, especially on Sunday's and holiday's. His family tradition was preparing Thanksgiving dinner for everyone. You could never find Larry without a smile. He was everyone's Uncle Larry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Wayne and Alice Irene Barnett formerly of Indianapolis, IN.

Larry is survived by his sisters, Jo Ann (Michael) Morgan and Susan (Joe) Lotze; nieces, Betty (Jason) Cook and Laura Keown; great nephews, Ryan Cook and Cody Keown; great nieces, Rachel Cook and Morgan Keown; and his best friend, Nancy Taylor.

Visitation will be Monday, August 26, from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a memorial service beginning at 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY).
