Robert W. Ball

We regret to announce the passing of Robert W. Ball at the age of 39 on March 1st, 2023. Born February 12, 1984 and raised in Louisville, Robert (Robbie to everyone who knew him) was a proud Kentuckian who loved bourbon distillery tours, vacationing in the eastern countryside of the state, and Thunder Over Louisville.

Robert Ball was dedicated to his family, friends, and his fiancee, Angela Lester. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness, devotion, and generosity will live on in us all.

Robert is survived by his mother, Diana L. Ball, his sister, Kathleen Ball, his brother Jeff Ball Jr., his stepfather Robert Lawrence, his stepbrother Zackary Wilson, grandparents Donald and Caroline Mason, and his nieces Lilith and Piper Key; along with various aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Jeffrey Ball Sr. and his brother Brandon S. Riggs, his grandmothers Ernestine Ball and Linda Mason.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
