Mr. Robert B. Watson, age 69, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009 after a courageous three and half year battle with pancreatic cancer. An Ashland, Kentucky native, he was an Army Veteran, retired from NCR and Cardinal Health, and a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.
Bob, known as Mr. Fixit, enjoyed conquering the Grand Canyon, reaching the summit of Pikes Peak and swimming in the Atlantic and Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Kazee; two sons, Dr. Robert S. (Karen) and Mark S. (Faith) Watson: a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Plomin (Dan); and five grandchildren, Blake, Claire and Cameron Watson and Erica and Sophia Plomin.
A celebration of Mr. Watson's life will be held at 2pm Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Middletown UMC with entombment to follow at Monday at noon in Rose Hill Cemetery, Ashland, KY.
