Robert Andaudrey Williams

Robert Williams was born on May 19th, 1936 to the late Augustus and Anna Williams in Brooklyn, New York. Robert known to friends as "Bobby" or "Crashbob" lost his battle with cancer and was called home on January 26, 2023 at the age of 86.
Audrey Byrd Williams was born on November 3rd, 1938 to the late Wiley and Catherine Byrd in Brooklyn, New York. Audrey known to friends as "Ladybyrd" or "Sister" was called home after battling a lung disease on January 31, 2023 at the age of 84.
Robert and Audrey knew each other from grade school. Before he enlisted in the army he told her they would be married as soon as he returned….and they were. They lived a great life together and loved to take trips, especially if there was gambling involved. It didn't matter, win or lose as long as they were together, having fun and making new friends along the way. Robert also loved to work on projects for the home, on computers, on anything he could think of. Audrey also loved to play bingo and experiment cooking new foods from one of the food network channels.
Left to cherish their memory are their three children and spouses: Kim, Derrick & Wen, Tyrone & Marisol; their siblings and spouses: Cherry, Philomena & David, Raymond & Lucy; their 3 grandsons: David, Branden and Demetri; Dawn and Tyesha, five great-grandsons, five great-granddaughters and neighbors and friends too numerous to name.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). The Williams Funeral Service will be at 5:00 pm on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel
The family requests that in Lieu of flowers contributions or gifts in Robert and Audrey Williams memory be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
