Rita Kaye Rogers

Rita Kaye Rogers, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Rita was very much loved and respected by her family and friends. Her family meant the world to her especially her grandkids. She was a wonderful caregiver to her husband and mother and an awesome cheerleader for her grandchildren. She will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who knew her.

She was born on November 26, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to Chester and Geneva (Clark) Kinser. She is preceded in death by her Father, Chester P. Kinser, Mother, Geneva Kinser, Husband, Clarence Leon Rogers, and Daughter, Angela Jenkins.

Rita is survived by her loving family, Children, Chastity L. (Bryan) Williamson, Elizabeth A. (Jeremy) Brasher, Suzie (Eric) Reinhardt, and Christopher Rogers; Grandchildren, Marina (Pete) Decker, Sarah (Rhiannon) Brasher, Angela (Jack) Adams, Benjamin Brasher, Joshua (Jacob) Underwood, Todd (Beth) Carmack, and Eisley Williamson; Great-Grandchildren, Maylea Decker, Laney Carmack, and Cannon Carmack; Sister, Robin (Steve) Hinkle, as well as a host of family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Rita's memory be made to St. Jude.
