Rita Carol Perdue, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023. Rita was a loving and caring person who was always there for her family and friends. She never met a stranger. She loved to play poker, dancing, and traveling. She was a free spirit and loved life to the fullest. Rita will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on August 9, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to Edgar and Susan (Darnell) Perdue. She is preceded in death by her Father, Edgar Oren Perdue, Mother, Susan Albina Hafley, Husband, Robert Duncan, and Brother, Raymond Perdue.
Rita is survived by her loving family, Daughters, Kimberly E. (Gerald) Medley, Katherine M. (Charles) Boughton, and Kristina S. (Marvin) Perdue; Grandchildren, Jamie, William, Victoria, Dustin, Dezarae, David, Christian, Khloey, Elijah, Marvin, III, Brooke, and Carson; Great-Grandchildren, Kira, James, Zailla, Mavis, Corbin, Lennox, and Bearic; Sister, Vickie Leffler; Nephew, Eddie Leffler, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory.
Per Rita's wishes the family has chosen cremation with a private celebration of life service at a later date.
