Rita Ann Williams Parks

Rita Ann Williams Parks, age 68 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023. Rita was a teacher's assistant at the Child Development Center at the Northeast YMCA. She was also a running mentor at Fleet Feet. She was born on July 31, 1954 to the late Bill and Shirley Williams. Rita is also preceded in death by her sister, Maureen Lamarr.

Rita is survived by her loving husband, Michael Parks; and children, Daryl Parks (Laura) and David Parks; and siblings, Billie Williams, Chris Williams (Linda), Julie Fowler and Angie Parks (Harry); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4 to 8pm on Monday, April 17, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243 and also on Tuesday, April 18th from 9:30am until 11am. A celebration of Rita's life will follow at 11am. Burial will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Hosparus or the Kentucky Humane Society.
