Rita Neal

Rita Faye (Cruse) Neal, 70, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2012.

Rita was born on December 24, 1941 to the late Andrew Biven and Margaret (Brown) Cruse. She was united in marriage to the late William Edward Neal, Jr. on August 18, 1962 which brought three children to bless their home. Rita worked at Fashion Shop 'n' Save & Kimball Office Furniture for many years. She was a long time member of First Southern Baptist Church in Floyds Knobs.

She is survived by her children, Angela Bowman (Doug) of Georgetown, IN, Amy Gresh (Dave) of Greenville, IN, & Bill Neal of New Albany, IN; sister, Joyce Geltmaker Sorrells; grandchildren, Brad & Addy Bowman, Sophia & Carson Gresh; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Along with her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her husband, William "Ed" Neal, Jr.; brothers, Harold & Earl Cruse; sister, Lucille Kessinger Hall.

Visitation will be 3 to 7:30 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, IN at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Southern Baptist Church (4631 Lakeview Drive, Floyds Knobs, IN 47119).
