Rita L. Moore

Rita L. Moore, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Rita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She always enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, church activities, camping, and spending time with family. Rita will truly be missed by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was born on May 4, 1934 in Murray, Kentucky to Caleb and Ruth (Rogers) Parks. She is preceded in death by her Father, Caleb Parks, Mother, Ruth Parks, Husband, Robert Eugene Moore, Siblings, Norma Turnbow and Jim Parks.

Rita is survived by her loving family, Children, Barry G. (Linda) Moore, Debra M. Kissick, and Robert C. Moore; Grandchildren, Emily (Justin) Cann, Clay Kissick, Sam (Sarah) Kissick, and Rachel Moore; Great-Grandchildren, Nathan Cann and Olivia Moore; Sister, Clara Barnett, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Funeral Service will be at 11:30 am on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
