Ricky Dale Brown, 56, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Jewish Hospital - Shelbyville.
He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 15, 1961 to the late Daniel Odell and Ruth Beatrice Brown. Ricky was a maintenance supervisor at Martinrea for several years.
In addition to his parents Ricky was preceded in death by his four siblings, Harold Joseph Brown, Donnie Ray Brown, Bonnita Sue Williams and Gary Michael Brown; one nephew, Phillip Scott Williams and one niece, Rhonda Mechille Harkins.
Ricky is survived by his beloved Wife Lora J. Brown; two daughters, Christy Sue (Billy Prather) Brown and Brittany Lynn Brown; one son Ethan Ryan Brown; three grandchildren, Kyleigh Elizabeth Thompson, Eugene Prather and Angelina N. Prather; one sister, Carol Harper and a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends all of whom will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40272. Burial will follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. Brother Bob Priest will be officiating the funeral service.
