Ricky Vaughn Appleton

Ricky Vaughn Appleton, 71, He was born and raised in Louisville's Russell Community, the third child of seven, born on March 9, 1952. He departed this life at home on April 18, 2023. He united with Zion Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Russell Junior High and graduated from Central High School. Growing up his favorite pastimes were watching classic cowboy shows, while eating honey buns with a coke. Listening to his favorite records Otis Redding's "On the Dock of the Bay" and anything Motown.

Predeceased are his parents, Cleve and Wilma Appleton, his brothers, Marnell (Huck) and Keith Appleton. He leaves behind a daughter, Hillary (Brooks) Lawson (Kevin), one granddaughter, Halessa, three sisters, Clevette Appleton, Tikeeta Taylor and Holly Conley of Cedar Hill Texas, and his brother, Bruce Appleton and several nieces, nephews and grand nephew.
