Rickie L. "Rick" Stanley, 61, of New Albany passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Rick was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
Rick was born on February 3, 1951 in New Albany to Lillie (Napier) and the late Clarice Stanley. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Stanley.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Brad Stanley, Rebecca Stone (Billy), and Matt Stanley; brother, Joe Stanley (Glenda); and eight grandchildren. He was united in marriage for 38 years to Patricia (Woutila) Stanley which brought three children to bless their home.
His Visitation will be 12 to 2 PM Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) followed by burial with military honors at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Hospice (800 Zorn Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206).
