Rickie Alan Cobb, a cherished husband, father, brother, and grandfather passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on November 12, 1960, in New Albany, Indiana.

Rickie was a proud retired disabled Navy veteran, having served honorably during the Gulf War. His service to his country was a source of pride for him and his family, and he remained a devoted member of the American Legion Post 204 in Sellersburg, where he continued to support his fellow veterans. He was an accomplished electrician by trade and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Rickie was a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing, spending countless hours by the water, where he forged unforgettable memories with loved ones. An enthusiastic sports fan, Rickie cheered passionately for the Indianapolis Colts and the Florida Gators, his love for football igniting spirited conversations and heartwarming family gatherings. Music also filled his life, providing a soundtrack to his daily adventures and serving as a bridge that connected him to those he cherished.

Rickie is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Cobb. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and love. He leaves behind his beloved daughters, Jessica (Joseph) Jenkins and Jennifer Cobb, step-daughter, Brandy (DJ) Hays, and his grandchildren, Gwendalynn Jenkins, Leiam Hargis, Reily Hargis, Jaxon Hays, and Finnick Hays, who were the light of his life and brought him immeasurable joy. Rickie also had a close bond with his siblings. He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Bezy, Connie (Joe) Brooks, Elizabeth "Kay" Collins, and Patricia "Packy" (Lonnie) Bratcher, along with his brother, Ryan (Tammy) Cobb. .

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Cobb Sr.; his mother, Janalene Lee Cobb; his brother, Ronnie "Bub" Cobb, Jr; and his infant twin sister, Regina Cobb. 

Cremation was chosen following Rickie's. Friends and family are welcome to an Honor Guard Ceremony being held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the American Legion Post #204 (412 N New Albany St, Sellersburg, IN 47172). A Celebration of Life will follow until 6:00 pm.
