Rickey "Rick" Lee Sullivan, 58, of Louisville passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky where he was a volunteer. Rick was a former employee of Merrick Printing in Louisville. He enjoyed photography and spelunking and loved to visit the Smoky Mountains.
Rick was born on March 10, 1952 in Manteno, Illinois to Rose Marie (Darrough) Sullivan and the late Bon Lee Sullivan. He is also preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Carl and Marcella Andres, and sister-in-law, Marcia Andres.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 35 years, Judy L. (Andres) Sullivan; brothers-in-law, Jerry Andres (Ida), Joe Andres, and Marlin Andres (Vicki); sisters-in-law, Janet Regan (Dan), Ginny Balmer, Joyce Young (John), Jackie Colin (Mike), Gina Cox (Mike), Connie Missi (Tim), and Shelly Cox (Tim); godchildren, Angie (Colin) Kruer and Gracie Missi; many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Jimmy Brinegar.
Visitation will be from 12 to 3 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (8310 St. John's Road, Floyds Knobs, Indiana) followed by a Funeral Service at 3 PM at the church. Generations Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to a
charity of the donor's choice.
