Ricky "Rick" Turner, aged 65, departed from this world on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in the warm embrace of Louisville, Kentucky.

Rick was a beacon of love and kindness, cherished as a devoted husband, father, brother, and the epitome of a doting "papaw." His life was a tapestry woven with laughter and joy; he found immense delight in telling stories that brought smiles and reflections to those around him. An ardent lover of cooking out, he created not only delicious meals but unforgettable memories shared with friends and family. Music and movies were his companions, enriching his days, and he greatly cherished the time spent in the company of loved ones. Born on January 12, 1960, in Winchester, Kentucky, Rick was the beloved son of Herman and Thelma (Baker) Turner. He is preceded in death by his dear brother, Gary Turner.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Lillian Turner, and his devoted sons, Kevin (Sarah) Turner, John (Jesse) Turner, and Mark Turner. He is also survived by his beloved sisters, Debbie (Tulley) Williams and Donna Turner, along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.
