Richert Lee Johnson

Richert Lee Johnson, 63, of Georgetown, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. Richert loved to spend time with his family camping, horseback riding, and riding in their side-by-side. He was also very fond of his dogs, Cheyenne, Savannah, and Tucker.

He was born on June 11, 1959, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Jerry and Rachel (Ohlman) Johnson. In addition to his parents, Richert was preceded in death by his first wife, Connie Johnson.

Richert is survived by his wife, Sandy Johnson; children, Erika Cadle (Chris), Garrett Hay (Brittany), and Cory Hay (Brittany); grandchildren, Colt, Granger, and Sadie Rose Hay; brothers, Kenny (Amy) and Mike (Connie) Johnson and Jim (Dee) Rhea; and parents-in-law, Jim and Cecilia Henriott.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 4:00 p.m.
