Richard "Ray Ray" Rawlings

Richard "Ray Ray" Rawlings, 52, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. He was a graduate of Mount Tabor School. Ray Ray was a loving person that was always willing to help out others. As a result of his kindness, he had many, many good friends.

He was born on August 8, 1969 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Richard and Janice (Simmons) Rawlings. In addition to his parents, Ray Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Richard "Little Ricky" Rawlings. He is survived by his sister, Laura Roerk; aunt, Shelia Sweet (Rick); as well as many additional aunts, uncles and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with cremation to follow according to Ray Ray's wish.

Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105).
