Richard D. Hills, Sr., 59, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his home. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed both hunting and fishing. Rick was the past Master of the Clark Masonic Lodge #40.
Rick was born on November 17, 1953 in Louisville to the late Chester D. and Thelma (Staggers) Hills. He is survived by his wife of nearly 34 years, Kathy A. (Warren) Hills; son, Ricky Hills, Jr. (Sara); sister, Linda G. Tyler (Norman); and granddaughter, Brianna Hills.
His visitation will be 4 to 8 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and from 9 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday. His Funeral Service will be at 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mathers Chapel Cemetery in English, Indiana.
Contributions in Rick's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society (701 W. Muhammad Ali Boulevard, Louisville, KY 40203).
