Richard "Dick" Brandon, 91, of Louisville, KY passed away on June 11, 2022.
Dick was a veteran in the US Navy, member of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church and retired from Ford Motor Company where is worked in the Logistics department at the Louisville Truck Plant. He was born on July 27, 1930 in Peoria, IL to the late Kenneth and Ruie (Parkes) Brandon. Dick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Margaret Roberts "Maggie" Brandon of 63 years.
Dick is survived by his sister, Marla Miller; sons, Richard Brandon (Robin), II, and Daniel Brandon (Sue); grandchildren, Megan Lockwood (Reid), Abby Wisniewski (Matt) and Austin Brandon; great-grandchildren, Parker and Quinn Lockwood; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church (319 Brown's Lane, Louisville, KY 40207), with a memorial service to follow at 12 p.m. at the church. A private family burial will follow the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or the church.
