Richard K. Bobbitt 1945 to 2023
As a young man, Richard loved the study of history and government. He also went on to learn and speak the Spanish and Portuguese languages.
Having studied these languages in California, he went on to complete a tour in the US Navy where he served as an interpreter aboard ship. Afterwards he pursued
a culinary career while working in several of the Louisville Kentucky's finest restaurants. While being there he began to pursue his love of horses and worked as a groom at Churchhill Downs Race track
until physically unable. He also loved to play his trombone and for a short time was a member of a city band.
At age 77, he is survived by his sister, Sheila Herman (John) and their 2 sons, Andrew and Charles ( with his 2 children Madison and Charlie)
