Richard Alan "Cowboy" Butler, 46, of Louisville, KY passed away on November 28, 2014. Rich has gone for that forever ride. He was a member of the Association of Recovering Motorcyclists (A.R.M.) and a clean member of Narcotics Anonymous for 2 years. Rich was born on January 3, 1968, in Columbus, OH.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Alice and Steve Johnson of Columbus, OH; father and step-mother George and Carol Butler of Columbus, OH; beloved daughter, Audrey Butler; and sister, Melinda Danford. Cowboy lived with Steven and Christina Escalante, his A.R.M. family for the last year.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). Funeral ceremony will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm. A memorial ride will be announced at a later date.
