Rebecca Heintz

Rebecca "Becky" Heintz, 75, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was gifted with crochet and loved making things for all her family and friends. Becky dearly cherished the time with her family and grandchildren. She was free-spirited and full of life. Becky enjoyed talking and always had a story to tell. She will be remembered as an amazing mother, daughter, sister & friend who was loved by everyone.

She was born on August 27, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Irwin Walter and Geneva Troncin Walter. Along with her parents, her family already in Heaven include her grandchildren, Layla, Levi, Annie, and Kaylan.

Waiting to meet Becky in Heaven are her daughters, Dannielle Dowell (Matt) and Devin Heintz (Charles); grandchildren, Kristopher, Matthiew, Nickolaus, Evan, Carman, and Emily; her loving ex-husband, Danny Heintz; siblings, Kathy Pate (Alan), Karen Trett (Randy), and Bernie Walter; her fur baby, Lily; and her nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in accordance with Becky's wishes.
