Rebecca "Becky" Annette Gaillard

Rebecca "Becky" Annette Gaillard, 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025. Becky was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She had a passion for participating in 4-H with her daughter, and enjoyed caring for their horse. Becky was a talented hairdresser for many years before beginning a career at UPS and later providing excellent care for senior citizens in their homes. She loved to spend time fishing both with her father and her husband. Becky had a love for Mustang cars, NASCAR, and drag racing. She loved her fur babies and took wonderful care of her pets. Becky was a member of the Bluegrass Vanners and cherished the relationships she made. Most importantly, she cherished making memories with her daughter, Lindsey, any chance she had. Becky will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.

She was born on September 6, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky to Earl and Barbara (Vaughn) Norfleet. She is preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Reynolds.

Becky is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Rene Gaillard, III; daughter, Lindsey Renee (Steven) Gaillard; parents, Earl and Barbara Norfleet;  sister, Jeannie (Tim) Hack; nieces, Destiny Hack, Jordyn Hack, Sarah Reynolds, Shana Reynolds, Abby Hack, Meleah Reynolds; special cousins, Little Billy Stewart and Harlon Norfleet; as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish her loving memory forever.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway. Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel. 

The family requests that contributions in Becky's memory be made to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel to assist with final expenses. 

The family would like to express a special Thank You to the Bluegrass Vanners Club as well as Dave Wallace and the Peace Chapel Baptist Church for their assistance during this very difficult time.
