Raymond Waller, age 91 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. Raymond worked for Davy Power-Gas in the United Kingdom as a petrochemical engineer. In the 1970’s, due to his expertise as a petrochemical engineer, Davy Power-Gas sponsored Raymond and his young family to immigrate to the United States to work at their Lakeland, Florida - U.S. Division. Later Raymond worked at Catalytic Engineering in Charlotte, N.C., and finally retiring from his engineering career working for Raytheon Company in Birmingham, A.L.
Raymond’s favorite soccer team was Sheffield United F.C. (the Blades). He was an avid golfer. Raymond loved his little dog, Sugar. He also enjoyed yardwork and feeding the wildlife at his Birmingham home.
Raymond is preceded in death by his first wife, Stella and second wife, Celeste.
Raymond is survived by his children, Paul Waller (Karen), Karl Waller (Anita) and Wendy Waller. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Lesley Ann DeJarnette (Chris); and two great-grandchildren, Afton and Rhodes.
A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
