Raymond Joseph Sweeney

Raymond Joseph Sweeney, age 41 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Raymond was one of the hardest working individuals to ever grace this planet or the doors of R&B Roofing and Remodeling. He had the most giving heart and he put everyone before himself. He would give anyone his last dollar, whether they needed it or not. He was a believer in Jesus Christ, his faith was so important to him, and it was his joy to share his faith with anyone who would listen. Raymond had a personality that would light up any room. He jokingly would tell everyone that would listen, he was the original Raymond from the show "EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND" and he was so proud of the fact that the show was written about him.

Raymond's life wasn't always perfect, and he never claimed to be a perfect man but he worked hard to right any wrong he had done. He worked even harder to make himself a better person every day. Raymond fought his demons his entire life, he would start every phone conversation with "GOD woke me up today, so I've got another chance to make it right again". On Sunday, February 18th GOD decided he must have "made it right" because He chose to wake him up that day in Heaven.

Raymond will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Raymond is survived by his R&B Family, immediate family members and Friends, as well as his many loyal customers.

Visitation will be 10am to 12pm on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Westport Road Baptist Church 9705 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40241, with a celebration of Raymond's life there at 12pm.
