Ranel Wayne Smith, Sr.

Ranel Wayne Smith, Sr., age 74 of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Ranel attended Ahrens Trade School He was formerly employed with G.E., Louisville Motor Exchange, and Kroger. He was an avid UofL Fan, a former drummer and loved drag racing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Christine May Smith; and his daughter, Melinda Smith.
Ranel leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Pandra Smith; children, Ranel Wayne Smith, Jr. (Betty), Daniel (Dawn) and Timothy (Missie); sister, Karen Manning, nephew, Jerry Smith; 10 grandchildren and 10 greast-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243. The funeral service will held at the funeral home at 4pm.
