Randell Scottie Mccorkle

Randell Scottie McCorkle, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022. Scottie had a passion for flying planes as well as woodworking and metalworking. He worked for over 37 years as a railroad engineer until his retirement. Scottie attended Graceland Baptist Church and was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

He was born on December 28, 1944 in Munfordville, Kentucky to the late Albert and Ruby Buckner McCorkle. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his niece, Amy McCubbins.

Scottie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debby McCorkle; daughter, Erin McCorkle; son, Brett McCorkle; sister, Robin (Jimmy) McCubbins; and niece, Christy (Shannon) Eatmon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be at Munfordville Municipal Cemetery on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 11:00 am (CST) in Munfordville, Kentucky.
