Randall "Randy" Hopkins

Today it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randall Keith Hopkins, lovingly known to his family and friends as Randy. Born on September 3, 1982, Randy was a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of many. He was always there for others, embodying the belief that one should never judge without walking in another's shoes.

Randy had a profound love for music. He was often deeply moved by the meaning behind the lyrics and how a song could resonate with so many. His passion for music was just one of the many ways he connected with people.

Randy was a true giver. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or crack a joke to make someone feel lighter, happier, and at ease. His presence brought joy and comfort to those around him. Though he left this earth too soon, Randy's spirit will live on in the hearts and souls of his family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife Jennifer, his devoted mother Donna, his father Donnie (Linda), and his cherished son Waylon, of whom he was immensely proud.

Randy is also survived by his brothers Richie Hopkins (Mary), Ronald Joseph Hopkins, and Jared Brown (Keirsten), his nieces and nephew Savannah, Ella, Layla, and Ryker, as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins who all loved him beyond measure.

Randy's legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
