Fisher, Ralph E. Sr. age 69 passed away July 2nd, 2010.
He was born in Milan, Tennessee. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in Agronomy, completed the ROTC program, and received commission as a 2nd Lieutenant into the U.S. Army upon his graduation. He met his beautiful wife Carolyn while attending UofT and they have been
married for 48 years.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1966 having completed a tour Vietnam as a member of the 1st Calvary Division. He built a successful career in Agri-business having worked for U.S. Borax and Wilbur-Ellis/Rigo Company. He was also a member of Southeast Christian Church. His interests included hunting, fishing, flying and recently, playing cards with his friends. Ralph's personality was such that he commanded a certain respect from people, of which was admired. He also had a soft heart which guided him to do the right thing in life's experiences. He was a strong family provider and he will be missed very much.
He is survived by his wife, the former Carolyn Cornett;son, Ralph Jr. (Crista); daughter, Deborah Muddiman (Matt);mother, Katherine Fisher; sister, Charlotte Armstrong; and grandson's, Lucas and Daniel Fisher.
Ceremony Friday, July 9, at 12 noon, at his church 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy.with visitation after 10 A.M. with burial in KY Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
Expressions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or the Hospice Unit at the Robley Rex V A Medical Center, Louisville, KY.
