Ralph D. Nay

Ralph D. Nay, Sr., 66, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012. He enjoyed collecting Jeff Gordon Nascar memorabilia, playing golf, and going fishing. Ralph was a charter member of Clifty 6 Fire Department, a member of the American Legion Post 35 in Jeffersonville and the VFW Post 1693 Hobart Beach in New Albany.

Ralph was born on June 30, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Merle L. and Mary L. (TenEyck) Nay. He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Waltson) Nay; sons, R.D. Nay (Traci), Morey Nay (Jenny); step-children, Shane Foster, Rachel Foster; grandchildren, Elijah, Dakota, Troy , Emily, Lexie, Taylor, Tyler, Jeffrey, and Trevor.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at noon Wednesday at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Floyd Memorial Cancer Care Center or Hosparus – the Community Hospice of Southern Indiana.
