Quan D. Porter

Quan D. Porter, 46, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Quan was a loving father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a free spirited individual who loved traveling and music. He was great with electronics and loved to make CD's. He never met a stranger and had a great sense of style. He was an avid UofL fan and never missed a game. Quan will truly be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on September 6, 1975 in Louisville, Kentucky to Howard and Wanda (Clark) Porter. He is preceded in death by his Father, Howard Anthony Porter and Mother, Wanda Joyce Porter.

Quan is survived by his loving family, Children, Quan D. Porter, II, Tra'Quan Porter, Tra'Von Porter, Tra'Shawn Porter, and Tamara Porter; Sister, Sharrita Weathers; Grandmother, Gertrude Wimbrey, as well as a host of uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
