Priscilla Janice (Leake) Wells, 70, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Janice was born on June 15, 1940, in Dant, Kentucky to the late Marion Willard Leake and Mary Ollie (Williams) Adams. She was united in marriage on November 14, 1958 to Larry Clayton Wells and to this union brought four children to bless their home. She attended Faith Assembly Church in Clarksville, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Wells; her children, Lauri Northcutt (Preston), Dana Humphrey (Kevin), Mark Wells (Brenda), and Tim Wells (Melissa); sister, Betty Winburn (Tom); grandchildren, Amanda Polston (Ben), Shelby Zoellers, Megan and Kelsey Humphrey, Zachary, Jacob and Brittany Wells, Matt & Mindy McNeil, Hannah, Ashleigh, and Madalyn Wells; great grandchildren, Gabrielle and Peyton Polston, Braxton Wells. In addition to her parents Janice was preceded in death by her siblings, Lyonell Leake and Laquita Ledford.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Saturday at Faith Assembly Church (1715 Potters Lane, Clarksville) with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
