Prabhakar R. Bhaskar

Mr. Prabhakar R. Bhaskar, age 63 of Louisville, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012. He retired as Assistant General Manager from the State Bank of India.

Mr. Bhaskar is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Kamala Bhaskar; sons, Ravi and Shyam Bhaskar; brother, Dr. Nageshwar Bhaskar (Kalpana); sister, Danteswari Bhaskar; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kiran and Jennifer Manchiraju.

Funeral ceremony will be at 1:30 pm with visitation until 2:30 pm, March 18th at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3309 Ballard Lane in New Albany. Memorials may be made to S.O.S. Children's Villages at http://www.sos-usa.org/

Atop a Pegasus,
with my Soul-mate in tow.
I soar.
To dizzying heights,
in the Firmament.

We both look down,
At the sordid world,
that we chose to leave,in search of
a new world or worlds beyond.

Not all we left behind
was sordid.
Some so good ,and folks so
loving,
it felt bad to leave it all.

Yet,it was time to move on.
To worlds unknown.
With hope,lots of hope,
in our hearts.
