Pierre Yvon Spencer

Pierre Yvon Spencer, age 59, of Louisville, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. He loved football (watched and played), playing Dominos and was an avid UofL fan. Pierre was a person who always liked a good joke and used his sense of humor to bring joy to the people around him. He loved life and most importantly, his family very much. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Dean; brothers, Webb Dean and Jesse Spencer; and his mother-in-law, Doris Tunstull.

Pierre is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Ellen; children, Sergio Spencer (Shermia), Tasha White, Quentin Spencer, Don'Nisha White and Travon Spencer; grandchildren, Audriana, Sergio II and Savannah; siblings, David Dean (Rodenia) and Priscilla Spencer; sister-in-law, Diane Allen (Tim); brother-in-law, John White (Vanessa); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 4-5pm on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of Pierre's life at 5pm.
