Phyllis Ann Pound, 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022.

She was born on August 24, 1939, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Henry Suddeth and Naomi (Sappenfield) Cobb. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Pound; son, Victor Terry; brother, Wayne Cobb; sister, Elaine Benson; son-in-law, Steven Finley; and granddaughter, Terri Lanette.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Debbie Finley, Larry (Nikki) Schroeder, Kim Boyer, and Jeff (Mary) Schroeder; caregiver and grandson, Justin Criswell; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at New Albany National Cemetery at a later date.
