Phyllis Ann (Minter) Green Webb, 81, of Laconia, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Phyllis was a cherished member of her community and a devoted participant at Grace Lutheran Church, where she actively engaged in the Thursday morning Bible study. Known for her talent in baking and crafting delightful holiday desserts, Phyllis brought joy to many through sweet treats. In her younger years, she had a passion for hunting and fishing.
Phyllis was born on August 3, 1943, in New Albany, Indiana, to Clarence and Roxie (Johnson) Minter. In addition to her parents who preceded her in death were her husbands, James Green and Robert Webb, and brothers, Robert and Michael Minter.
A dedicated professional, Phyllis retired from Floyd Memorial Hospital, where she made many meaningful connections throughout her career. She relished her role as Mamaw, adoring each of her grandchildren, holding them dear to her heart.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Razor and Jamie Green (Jill), along with her step-daughter, Shannon Carter (Rick). Phyllis also leaves behind her beloved sister, Debbie Boyle and will be remembered fondly by her eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Grace Lutheran Church (1787 Klerner Lane, New Albany). Her funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., and she will be laid to rest privately at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Contributions in her memory may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
