Phyllis (Pee Wee) J. Diehl, 91, of Louisville, KY went home to her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 28, 2022.
Phyllis was a bookkeeper for the family business and a tax accountant. Her hobbies included working jigsaw puzzles, completing crossword puzzles and reading Perry Mason mysteries. Phyllis was a devoted member of the Saint Elizabeth of Hungary parish.
Born September 9, 1930 in Pittsburg, PA to the late Phillip M. Eisenbeis and Flora A. Menn Eisenbeis, Phyllis moved to Louisville as a small child. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, William L. Diehl Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory children, Janie Penna (William), Jeanie Crane (Jim), William III (Mary), Kenny (Peggy), James, and Valerie Banks (Roger); 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
