Phillip Wayne Monroe, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
He was born on January 27, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to Jesteen and Verna (Logsdon ) Monroe . Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Reathel Monroe, Jesse Monore and Greta Priddy.
Phill enjoyed being outdoors, riding his bike, playing with his dog, Peanut, going to Bingo and spending time with his family.
Phill is survived by his loving wife of 32 1/2 years, Sheila Monroe, daughters, Susan K. Stanley and Melissa Monroe, grandchildren, Donald Ray Jaggers, III, Gregory Wayne Stanley, Jr., Nola Ann Stanley and Alex E. Stanley, 8 great grandchildren, his sisters, Janice Embry and Sheila Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews that loved him very much.
Private services will be held.
