Phillip Taylor "Phil" Long

Phillip Taylor "Phil" Long, 73, passed away on June 2, 2024. He was well known in the car and towing industry and he was the owner of Long & Son Towing and A - Express Towing. Phillip was always being goofy and was the life of the party, always putting a smile on your face. His children and grandchildren were the apple of his eye.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Susie Long, Sr; the mother of his children, Vickie Long; siblings, James Long, Marty Long, Paul Long, Betty Walcott, Charles Long, Susie Long and Jerrell Long;

Phillip leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Kevin Wells, William Wells, Christina (Darryl) Cain, Susie (Barry) Long, James (Racheal) Long and Phillip Hibbs, grandchildren, Sarah, Tayla, Abigail, Wyatt, Selena, Cheyanne, Dale, Jaxson, Lilly, Skylar, Octavia (turtleneck), Autumn, and Aria; sister, Mary Shake and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2024, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 10am-1pm with a celebration of Phillip's life beginning at 1pm.

Phillip will be laid to rest at Garnettsville Cemetery, Hwy 1638, Brandenburg, KY.
