Phillip R. Hodge

Phillip R. Hodge, 22, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, May 30,2024. He was born on November 7, 2001 in Louisville, Kentucky to Bessie Berryhill.

At a young age Phillip joined and was part of the Big Brother Big Sister program where he made many lasting relationships, including his big sister Jennifer. He than got introduced to YouthBuild Program by his beautiful sister Jennifer and obtained his GED/diploma. Phillip enjoyed gaming on his PC and he made many friends throughout the years gaming. Most importantly, he loved and cherished his babies, spending a lot of time with his family and his friends and made every moment memorable. He had a big caring and loving heart. Don’t ever let the appearance of a bulldog make you think differently.

He is preceded in death by his father, Chester R. Hodge, grandfather Richard L. Begley, grandparents Kathleen and Floyd Hodge.

Phillip is survived by his loving Mother, Bessie Berryhill (Begley) and Tony Shoemaker; significant, other Aubreanna Landrum (Hodge); his babies, Xavier R.Hodge, Addison B. Hodge and Ayden L. Goldsmith; grandmother Doris Begley; his siblings, Richard Begley, Ralph Whitman JR, Amber Berryhill, Jennifer Clark, Crystal Summitt and Misty Phipps. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews Nevaeh Christopher, Jackson Whitman, Jaxson Phipps and Isabella Phipps.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 12th, from 12:00pm-6:00pm, with a service to follow at 6:00pm, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY
