Peter Steinsberger, a beloved son and friend to many, passed away on October 11, 2024, in New Albany, Indiana, at the age of 29. Born on August 21, 1995, in Elkhart, Indiana, Peter's journey through life was marked by his artistic spirit and a deep appreciation for the beauty around him.
Peter had a passion for art and his creativity and talent were evident in every piece of art he designed. He found joy in various hobbies that embraced the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and boating on the Ohio River. He treasured moments spent at his family's cabin and time with his beloved dogs, Nellie and Ceaser.
Peter’s musical talent brought him immense joy, often strumming his guitar and sharing melodies with those he held dear. He had a love for life and loved bringing people together to enjoy good meals, heartfelt conversations, and memorable moments. His free spirit shone brightly as he rode his motorcycle, embracing the open road and the thrill of adventure. He was a proud member of the Menace Motorcycle Club- Louisville, Kentucky.
Survived by his devoted parents, Dan and Patty Steinsberger, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins, Peter leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity. He found a special companion in Shelby Cox, who shared in his journey and experiences, adding to the warmth in his life.
Peter is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Uneda Peter, and paternal grandparents, Dr. Harry C. and Josephine Steinsberger.
We take comfort in knowing that Peter is at peace and no longer has to endure the torment of drug addiction.
