Peter Cornelius Pouw, 79, of New Albany passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital with his wife by his side.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Pouw; daughters, Connie Pouw, Kathy Embry (Terry), & Rebecca Brown (Mitch); 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 3 step-children; and many step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cornelius & Cornelia (Verboom) Pouw; sons, James & Michael Pouw; & his previous wives, Ola Diaz & Doris Jean Pouw.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). His Funeral Service will take place at 11 AM on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be conducted.
