Peggy A. (Gesenhues) Simpson, 48, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on July 31, 2012. Peggy was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Albany.
Peggy was born on November 12, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana to Henry and Martha (Korbe) Gesenhues. Along with her parents, she is also survived by her husband, Gregory Simpson; sons, Derek and Ryan Vest; daughter, Macey Simpson; brothers, Anthony, Kevin, and Stephen Gesenhues; sisters, Donna Ettel (Terry) and Susan Ostrader (Jeff); and one grandchild, Adrian Vest.
Visitation will be 2 to 8 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a Rosary Service at 4 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Cemetery in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care Center (2210 Green Valley Road, New Albany, IN 47150).
